Are we becoming more accepting of spelling errors?

I have noticed that most people are mis-speling (like myself-so forgive me), but the thing is a lot of people dont notice half the time. If you have a word Like (word) and you spell it "wrod" people read it as it supposed to be as its starting letter and ending letter are correct. Kind of weird how the brian works. Oh and did u notice i spelled brain wrong? hehehe
