What is the difference between U.S. & U.K. question?

Recently one of my answers was reported & deleted, I was shocked by such capriciousness of complainer, and petitioned the deletion which got my answer reinstated. But I discovered that the question I answered was from U.K.- Ireland section of Y.A...so I concluded that those Brits may be more tacky and complain lot more than Americans...But how can you tell if some question is asked by a Brit, or an American?..I have not noticed any specific designation on questions telling me what part of world they are coming from.

My husband is starting work as a subcontractor. How much taxes does he take out of each paycheck?

We live in Texas and my husband is an immigrant from Brasil who just received his work permit from the US Dep't of Homeland Security. He is starting work as a subcontractor for a ceramic tile company. Neither one of us are experienced business people. When he starts to get checks from this company, they are not taking out taxes. He is responsible for taking out his own. What percentage and for what types of taxes does he need to take out. And does he pay it all at one time at the end of the year? What about paying his employees that do work for him? Do we take taxes when we pay them? I am his wife, am currently pregnant and am due in July so we will have a dependent. I work and make around 50,000 a year. I need advice!

Medical question please help!?

i was on the toilet and wondered how far the brush could go up my bown eye. so i tried and now it's stuck.. all i see is brissles coming out of it and it is painfull to sit on. Does anyone know if any house hold items would help get it out because i'm embarrased to go to the doctors.
